What is the difference between a modular home, a prefabricated home and a prefab home?

Modular home, prefabricated home and prefab home are all synonyms. They are all fully built in a factory and then delivered to the construction site with trucks. A modular home differs from a panelized home, for which pre-built wall are assembled on the construction site (which involve much more work at the construction site than a factory built modular home).
